About me
I trained at North West Media Makeup School, Manchester in 2010 and completed the VTCT fashion and photographic Makeup course. I started out doing what most Makeup artists do, worked with as many different photographers as I could. From well established professionals to student photographers putting together their final portfolios. I learnt from every single person I worked with and gained a lot of experience in Fashion Makeup in a very short space of time.
“I have always had a passion for Makeup and after years of working as a performer I finally took the leap to Makeup. I love every minute of it!”
I enjoyed that feeling so much that I moved into Wedding Makeup. I love being a part of someone's special day. The buzz in a room the morning of a wedding is like nothing else. I always like to do a trial run first with a bride, not only as it gives both of us peace of mind, but I don't want to be a stranger walking into that room. I like to think that it's a calming moment for the bride and that they can just sit and be pampered, relax and look forward to the rest of their day.
I work in makeover studios across Yorkshire and love the feeling of giving someone a confidence boost. People come to these studios for all sorts of different reasons, and different ages! There is no better job satisfaction than a woman looking at herself in the mirror and saying that she has never felt so good about how she looks
Beauty head shots were where my passion for Makeup started. I spent hours looking at images in magazines and on the internet thinking "I want to do that". I was lucky enough to work with photographers that shared that same passion and together we had a lot of creative shoots and they are still some of my favourite images in my portfolio.
